Fathers Day

Fathers Day was more than I could have ever imagined it. When I woke up on fathers day and saw my son Andy smile at me, I already knew that he was my fathers day gift. I felt proud and I felt blessed to be a dad. In the morning I played a little with Andy but then got ready to go eat breakfast with my dad and family. We went to this really good mexican place called Chequita Bonita in Pasadena. Had a great time with my dad. After breakfast we went to the in-laws for dinner and had some really good beers and a couple of shots for fathers day. Dinner was carne asada with beans and rice. The wife bought me two books for fathers day. One is called No Reservations and the second is called Hungary Monkey. I will get around to reading these books. I'm not really a book reader but I am interested in these books. It was a relaxing day and I loved every minute of my day. Happy Fathers Day to all great dads out there.
